Here’s where you’ll find helpful tools to use as we move through the coaching process.

Finding Your Purpose

This diagram, created by Marc Winn, can be used to help you define what gives your life purpose.

Looking at the circles, make a list that would fill in each one. For example, what do you love? What are you good at? What do you think the world needs? And what can you be paid for?

Now look at the areas titled Passion, Mission, Profession, and Vocation. To define Passion, consider where what you love intersects with what you’re good at. To define Mission, consider where what you love intersects with what the world needs. To define Profession, consider where what you’re good at intersects with what you can be paid for. To define Vocation, consider where what you can be paid for intersects with what the world needs.

You might find that your Purpose is where all of these things intersect.
